You do not need an account to use this site, and we never sell your information. We do, however, collect some personal information as that term is used in Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's PIPEDA — an IP address and device or usage data count as personal information even when no name is attached to them. If you consent: Google Analytics (GA4, tag G-5B23X9LPLT) receives usage data governed by Google's privacy policy; Microsoft Clarity receives behavioural data — page views, scroll depth, clicks and session replays of how you move through the site — governed by Microsoft's privacy statement, and is configured not to capture text you type; and Google AdSense uses cookies to show ads. Your quiz progress and answer history are kept in your browser's localStorage on your own device and are never sent to us. None of the tracking above loads until you choose “Accept” on the consent banner — if you choose “Decline”, or never choose at all, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not loaded and ads are served non-personalized.
We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies under Google’s policies. To opt out of analytics you can use your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on; ad personalisation can be turned off at Google Ad Settings.

Microsoft Clarity: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
We use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick/advertising cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. No other advertising networks, social trackers, or data brokers are used.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's PIPEDA
you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and
to withdraw a consent you previously gave. Because this site has no user accounts, in
practice there is very little to act on: your quiz progress and answer history live only
in your own browser's localStorage, so you can erase all of it yourself at
any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings — we never receive it.
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site's data, which removes the stored choice and shows the consent banner again on your next visit.
To make a request, or to complain about how we handled one, email albertaclass7test@yahoo.com. We will respond within 45 days, as PIPA requires. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca) or, for matters under PIPEDA, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Quiz progress and answer history stay in your browser until you clear them; they are never transmitted to us, so we hold no copy and cannot delete them on your behalf.
Analytics data is held by the providers under their own retention settings: Google Analytics retains usage data for 2 months (Google's default retention period, which we have not changed) and Microsoft Clarity retains recordings and usage data for approximately 13 months under Microsoft's published retention schedule. We do not keep a separate copy of either. Server access logs, which include IP addresses, are rotated automatically by our hosting provider's standard server configuration; we do not keep a custom or extended log archive.
The individual responsible for privacy compliance for this site, as required by PIPA, is the Site Operator, reachable at albertaclass7test@yahoo.com.
